Our Speaker this week is our District 6040 Governor,
Amy Chinnery-Valmassei!

We are excited to welcome our District 6040 Governor as the speaker at this week's meeting. Amy Chinnery-Valmassei has been a Rotarian for more than 15 years and is a member of the Rotary Club of Lee’s Summit. She currently serves as District
Governor for Rotary District 6040. Youth programs—especially Youth Exchange—are among Amy’s favorite parts of Rotary. She values the friendships, connections, and opportunities Rotary creates to make a meaningful difference in our communities and around the world. Amy is married to Scott, and they have two adult children, Daniel and Annica. Outside of Rotary, Amy is a Registered Yoga Teacher and a lifelong water sports enthusiast. She is a former world record holder in two disciplines of show water skiing, a Senior Judge of Show Water Skiing, and has been selected to judge the World Championships in September 2027. During the summer, you can also find her teaching waterskiing and sailing.
This year, Amy is traveling throughout District 6040, getting to know our clubs, celebrating what they are doing, and encouraging all of us to find new ways to Create Lasting Impact.
Hope to see you with us at our regular Rotary Club meeting this Wednesday evening!
